Our Policy:

To achieve the best results for the student, and maintain the high quality service Brooklyn Brains is known for, we have created a policy for all of our clients.


  1. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure stable internet connection for remote sessions. By signing up for such a service, you acknowledge that you are responsible for maintaining stable internet connection, and will contact the Brooklyn Brains team at info@bkbrains.com upon any changes to this aspect of our work with you.
  2. At Brooklyn Brains, we want our clients to put their best foot forward and try their best during sessions. This is why we prohibit the use of cellphones, surfing the web, engaging in social media and other distractions by our students during sessions. Trust us, using our time together to maximum capacity will pay off!
  3. Payment: Rates for sessions are determined based on (but not limited to) the type of service provided, course tutored, grade level, and experience of tutor. Your sessions are confirmed when payment is received. We are currently accepting payment through: Quickpay, Zelle, and Venmo. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services in the event of an outstanding balance by the client.
  4. We understand life happens, which is why for each session there is a 15-minute grace period for lateness. After the first 15-minutes of your session, you may be charged the full-session fee.
  5. We respect your time, and we hope you respect ours. Cancellation at Brooklyn Brains requires a minimum 24-hour notice from your scheduled session. Cancellation within 24-hours of your scheduled session may result in a $15 cancellation fee.
